An interactive discussion of important current issues with regard to privacy.

Privacy -- it's not just about Facebook. This panel is aimed at piquing interest in hot (or at least simmering) privacy issues that, despite their importance, just aren't getting much attention. While domestic issues will be discussed, the main focus of the panel will be the fluid and complex international front, where tension between the United States and other national or international privacy regimes may be growing on matters like U.S. government access to passenger name records or financial data (remember SWIFT?). Who are the players in the international privacy arena? Who is the European Parliament? Why does the Lisbon Treaty matter?
